Our school was lucky enough to have the opportunity to take
part in the great Archibll prize competition. We were given cotton as our
topic to learn about and display through the cow. Just last term Rhysie, Paige and I went to the Launching of the Archibull prize and I was stunned by the
other designs on the cows from past competitions.Miss Robinson, Miss Walker, the girls and I were
very eager to try and overcome those designs and knew we had more to offer
through our cow. We even started talking about making our cow into a fountain.
Through the Archibull Prize, I have learnt
lots of facts and things I never knew about cotton. I learnt where cotton came
from and how it is transformed into clothes and other items we
use every day.
When I found out all bout cotton and it's uses, I was amazed that cotton is so awesome.
I love the cow and I know it looks amazing and reckon no other cow will look like ours.
Im very thankful for being in this project and have enjoyed it very much.
